by Michael T. on Wow! In speaking to the owner last week when I visited for the first time in something like 5 years, I found it has been opened for 9! The reason it has lasted so long versus other's in Midtown is that its got a diverse crowd, with all types of people. Everyone having a good time in a great space. Very cool lounge atmosphere, like you would find in the larger cities. Drinks high as are most clubs of this type in Midtown, so I won't be visiting often, just too expensive in this day and time. Only other complaint, would be the smoking allowed. With its tight quarters, the smoke can be overpowering to most I would think. Please Atlanta, if we are going to have cool clubs like this, lets go "non-smoking" like all the other major cities in this country! A great place to hang out despite these negatives!! : )
by Jerald Milteer on Yikes! I've been here twice now, and let me tell you, this is not a place anyone should go to during the day (for special events), or I should say, when the lights are on and you are relatively sober, because you can see just how dirty it really is. And when I say dirty, I mean like I wouldn't be surprised to see a cockroach scurry across the floor kind of dirty. At least grungy clubs own their grunginess and aren't trying to be anything else. But Temple is going for that pristine, zen, white feeling, and all that comes across is scuffed floors and stains. To put it simply, it's trying to be classy, but it is wearing a see-through polyester shirt that shows off its rusted belly-button ring. And honestly, there is not much reason to overlook the grime because the scene (people + music) is not crackin, hoppin, goin off, or any other phrase you can think of to describe "fun." I'd rather wear something comfortable, save my $20 cover and spend it at, dare I say it, a dive bar that is probably just as dirty and not trying to hide it.
by Meryl C. on Can be a really fun place. Get in, get bottle service and enjoy the ride. If you aren't in the mood for a true NY scene, don't go there.
