We did a private, charity event for a recently departed family member for 120 people, was a nice space, but they constantly added on fees and never had a running tab..food was good and we ate dinner after the event, but they tried to run up the tab for all kinds of things. The hostility by the managment was horrible, first time I have ever had the police involved to settle a bill. Again, the food was good, but it was a bait and switch out to get as much out of the patron as possible. They should be ashamed by these practices.
by Tomeka Farnell on DISCLAIMER: i have only been here for raves. first off. ridiculously obscure location. which is awesome for us crazy kids. it is right by the water, hell, OVER, the water which is fun cause it leaves you thinking "i can dive off this bitch and do a front flip and if i land on my face well at least its just water right?" anyway. i like the multi room layout and double decker style. it makes walking around fun and adventurous since the setting is always changing. the bouncers have always been chill. a buddy of mine was caught smoking i dunno like...300 blunts or something and was promptly kicked out. only to casually walk back in an hour later. the outdoor section is a Nice escape form the craziness of indoors. the walls of the place on the backside are all windows so you can see all the action going on inside when you are out smoking a stoge (or 300 blunts). only small time DJs play here. but doesnt mean they dont play big time music. every time ive gone here to rave it has been ridiculously fun. aside from the night i had 18 speed pills. yikes! now for the few of you reading this thinking "raves? what the hell?" or "PSYCHO KID" or "yeah mission rock is tight i think ive seen you there with all the chicks on you!" well. where am i going with this...oh ya. id say check out a nicer spot for a Legit rave experience. this place is just an excuse to have a good time and get fucked up on anything. its cheap. its loud. cool location. cool people. always a cool experience. this one time, at mission rock..........
by Merri L. on This place looks like it'd be scary, but it has breaks music wed nite, d&b thurs nites, and something else maybe sunday? No dress code, wear what you want, very chill on those nites (well i only went one wed once in june or july but my friends went all the time ). Low cover. The reason i only went once for the good music is because i was scared to go there at first, and then i moved right after. I had bad experiences early on here, on different nights. The first was a few years ago it was probably a sat or fri nite, with my then boyfriend, top 40/r&b music. Scary girls, guys grabbing my butt even tho i was with my boyfriend.. ugh. Then later that same year i tried to go in and everyone was very irish bar looking, didnt let my friend in the club either... So either it's changed, or some nites it's way irish bar, faneiuel hall -ish, and then other nites fun and good music. I'd say give it a try and see what you think!
