AWESOME! I saw FELA! at the Sunday afternoon matinee performance. It was great. The theatre was small which really enhanced the experience. The music, singing, dancing, story-telling, staging, and lighting were all spectacular. The way the dancers and actors interact with the audience, the 'special effects', and the experience are not to be missed. It would be a good idea to at least Google Fela Kuti before going but it is not essential. I have never had so much fun at a show. I recommend this show for everyone!

I guess you can say Bubble Lounge is either a "HIT" or a "MISS". Let's put it this way, the waitress scored a direct "HIT" on my friends shirt with spilt beer while giving us our drinks. Maybe she completely "MISS"ed the table because it's so dark in here. Her spilling of the beer turned out to be a blessing in disguise because as a result, she gave our group a fresh strawberry appetizer with warm chocolate dipping sauce. Which for our group was a big "HIT". I know I'm not going to "MISS" their bubblicios champagne cocktail because it was nasty. I told my friends to "HIT" me next time I try to order a fruity drink ever again.

Situated on a relatively calm LES block, BoB is my 'default' spot in the city. Local Artwork, good DJs, and a crowd that likes to dance. Going with a small group of friends makes for a cool night out. The draw: Small enough to feel like you're packed in a sardine can. If you go on a busy night, you'll understand my word choice. It gets pretty stuffy. Also, for a small lounge, the drinks are a little expensive. One time me and my girl ordered shots of Grey Goose and it was obvious that they were watered down. Despite its forgivable flaws, BoB never lets me down. I go, I dance, I have fun. If you're looking to do the same, then give it a try.
