Dancers is the best! I am a frequent visitor to Indy, and have stopped in at some of the other clubs, but this is by far my favorite. It has the normal "B List" girls, but the "A List" ones are awesome. On each trip I notice a handful of dancers that are Vegas Quality. I tried a dance from an OK looking girl, she kept pushing, but felt ripped off, but when the hot ones come around take them up on it, the hot ones stay bc they know how to do it. Amy, natural D, pretty, and Grace/Eden gave me a double and just gotta say, wow. well worth the cost. Waitresses are friendly, but really push the champagne room, beer specials are good prices, and if you pay for the reserved seating, the B List ones generally leave you alone.

I was in town for two days and went to this club both nights. First and foremost, note this club is topless only -- stage dances will run you a few dollars to private dances that will run about 20 depending on the girl. I didn't sample the food, but the waitresses are very attentive and attractive. The men's room was pretty nasty... I made sue not to touch anything. The girls are also attractive, most girls seem to enjoy what they do and there's certainly a wide variety accommodating to everyone's tastes. I particularly enjoyed the DJ's selection of music and the TV's everywhere playing the basketball games. The first night (Thursday - not as busy) was awesome! Each customer seemed well attended during their dances (as was I), girls stopped to chat and private dances were fantastic! I was there until close and made sure to empty my wallet planning to return. In retrospect, Friday night was the complete opposite (very busy that night). Dances were less than a minute and girls seemed like they didn't want to be there. I wasn't approached by a single girl all night and finally had to take initiative to get a private dance, which was also horrible (she spent the whole dance explaining to me what I could and couldn't do and she grinded me so hard I felt like a flattened pancake when I practically ran from the booth). I left early with a nearly full wallet, and felt swindled out of the $60 I did spend. My conclusion... this place is hit and miss and I'd avoid the weekends when it's more likely to be busy.

Ive been a long time customer ,but starting to be disappointed with the lack of attention given by the dancers...it seems none of the girls wanna do dollar dances anymore....which leads to more money and customer satisfaction

Disappointed that the courtesy of free admission isn't extended to military retirees...as was explained by management...that it already costs to much letting the active duty guys in free...oh well most other places in indy include those of us who served for twenty years...I won't go back

Visited RISE on Saturday, 05.02.09 Guest DJ/Producer Dan DeLeon from LA + Daniel David in the lounge My friends left after dinner and I was stuck by myself. Pulled out the iPhone and fired up the rateclubs app and found this place and thought I'd give it a try! $20 cover charge - quite reasonable. Interesting that they don't serve alcohol. But the atmosphere is quite electric - I was told the DJ was spinning trance - not true! It was electro/techno for sure, lots of beats - quite good but definitely not trance. Went at about 12:30 AM and the place was packed - it stays open till 6:30 AM!!!!! Quite impressive. I only stayed till about 3 since I had an early morning flight back to San Francisco to catch and I had a long evening before this anyway. Rise would not be my in my top 10 list of clubs to go to but it was adequate and I had fun. Interestingly enough, I ended up chatting to about 8 to 10 people and they were ALL from California!!!! How bizarre! Good sound, adequate lighting effects - airy (I never felt uncomfortably hot or stuffy). Good club, too bad they don't serve alcohol but somehow, I don't think the patrons of Rise let that be an impediment to getting high on substances. I'd recommend Rise for the atmosphere - the lack of alcohol does make for a different and surprisingly enjoyable experience - at least there's less drunken jerks to deal with which is a good thing, especially for the ladies! ~ 3 stars overall, but I'm not hastening back. And this is just because I prefer a different type of music - no reflection on the club. (Review partlially edited after a conversation with Mike, the owner, a delightful and honest individual!) # 101

Dancers is a very comfortable environment. The staff there is friendly and very protective of their customers. The entertainers are very hospitable, and not overwhelming in their approach.

I went to Slide with co-workers last week and had an enjoyable time. You walk in and are able to "slide" into the club using a old leather sprial slide. Inside you are met with the feeling of an old prohibition era speak easy. Girls are dressed up in the fashion of the era and service does not want. The feeling of the club is provincial and fun and along with good service, its a fun place to go with friends. Sometimes however the feeling conveyed is forced and my only criticism was that the staff tying to stay in character was a bit jarring and superficial. Being in hospitatlity, I love talking to people and it proves much more difficult to talk to a character rather than a person. Other than that, the place was great.
