by sophia c. on Sunday fun Day. I love trying new places My friend and I went there on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. First we thought about sitting inside, but the bar table we sat in was bolt down to the ground and has no back. so we decided to sit on the patio, which was a much better choice it was our server first day on the floor, she did good now on to the food..... i like the idea fries in a shopping cart basket, its cute...but it a pain when you get to the bottom and trying to fish it out of the basket for a $10 burger and the menu says best to have it med rare, i can do without the bun soak with burger juice (meaning red juice....if you know what i mean) i like to eat my burger with my hand....like the way it suppose to knife and forks are for some other food other then burger over all, its a nice place for sunday afternoon i would like tell people if you like to eat your burger with your hand, then get them medium or even med well.
by Sterling Abetrani on the venue is nice, i really like the artwork and the wall of lights behind the stage/dj area the bartenders are ok the bouncers are really cool, helped all the girls in the VIP area get down the stairs without tripping on their 4 in heels (jen wear more comfortable shoes next time) the guys were kinda meh-whatevs, the girls were ok, but i wasnt really on the prowl or anything, just there to dance and have a good time w/ friends the artwork and lighting and the awesome DJ is why this is getting 4 stars, i spoke with the DJ after and he was really nice and humble, super talented, he said he would be playing at the Oscars, so keep an eye out for him, if i remember correctly, his myspace is DJRaviDrums if he is playing again, ill be there
by CasiusCarnivore on Went out on a Saturday night. The atomsphere was very casual and comfortable, staff very friendly and accomadating. The appetizers looked yummy- but the steak, sub-par. I've honestly had better steaks at Applebees. I'm a steak lover and have perused steak houses all over the country from Peter Lugars, Palms (NY & Vegas), Emerils, Ruth Chris, Wolfgang and chain resturants including Outback, Longhorn and Lone Star.
Considering I had to shell out $28 for a NY Strip I was excited that I was going to get a quality piece of meat. No such luck. It was overcooked when I asked for it medium rare, but hey even over cooked a good steak is a good steak so I went ate it and it seriously tasted like a low quality steak I buy at my supermarket for 4.99 lb. A strip should be smooth in your palate and a little sweet. It was mealy and chewy. Shame on you for charging $28 for that. I would have enjoyed the steak at the diner better. No excuses for a steak house that boasts quality meat.
I may go back and try the ribs- they looked good- but will never get the steak there again.
