by Purple P. on I went there recently twice to watch some of the World cup games. The place was pretty packed. I didn't try the food. I like the ambiance; it has this "jazzy" feel to it and the big screens on the wall are amazing. There's a also an area with a bunch of pool tables. Really nice!! I'll have to go back to check out the food.
by Kasey Tewell on First impression is a decent one. It took some goading to have my small party seated on a Sunday evening, the hostess didn't seem too keen to actually find tables for us beyond looking at her little dining zone map and throwing out a very conservative ETA to a group of starving people. After a little nudge from a lovely lady in my group and a shorter wait we were seated and ready to look over the simple, well designed menu. Food was a solid three star affair. No complaints in my party beyond having all the meals a la carte but I think that complaint was more a function of the frugality of my posse mixed with the hunger we'd worked up prior to heading over. Sweet potatoe fries are overplayed and rarely done well, at least these weren't thick and mealy in the middle, the standard potatoe fries had that long frozen taste about them so like I said, solid three stars, nothing spectacular just really a-okay as far as first impressions go. My chicken panini had well cooked meat, fresh cheese and good bread. The boyfriend demolished his burger and was not slowed down by any sort of issues with it not being cooked to his specifications or other surprises. Service was attentive, the place was busy without being packed and everyone seemed pretty content. Splitting the bill a billion ways went off without a hitch and it was a frill-free, headache free meal. I guess this place makes up for frills by having pretentiously dim bathrooms. What. The. Hell. While I enjoy the flattering light I don't like having to use my mini-flashlight to dig things out of my purse when dining out. I understand carrying the dim lounge vibe through the whole restaurant but don't make the restrooms even dimmer than the dining hall. I can see my next review being four stars after exploring the menu a little bit more and seeing how their drinks are.
by Quinn S. on Atmosphere is a joke, and if you fall for it, shame on you. We were on the guest list and were told free entry and free Patron before 11, so we headed over a little after ten. Great gimmick, since they clearly weren't letting anyone in until 11. The line, which wrapped around the building, never moved in the 15 minutes we waited before giving up, except when other people gave up and left. With pathetic, deceptive business practices like this, I really hope this place fails miserably.
