Official, legit, off the chain, da bomb, say whatever you want. This place is the place to be for hip-hop concerts / acts. Their line-up is the best every year and it seems everyone who is / was HAWT at one point has come through! I really like smaller venues for music and this place does not disappoint. I'm guesing it can hold may be up to ~300-400 people? And I'm no tall dude but I can still see the stage almost no matter where I stand. The crowd is usually mixed and people are just there for the music. No trouble at all. Let's see who I've seen the last 2 years since I started to come here... M-E-T-H-O-D MAN, Nas, Clipse (what happened to that boi??!), Common (he had a dope SF freestyle), Snoop a LOOP!, Wu Tang Clan, Dead Prez and more...

I love this place. Cuban food that rivals what you will find at either Versailles Restaurant in Miami or Columbia Restaurant in Tampa. If you are familiar with either of those places and have not been to Tierra Colombiana then get over there now! You can park at the Rite Aid across the street and even though the neighborhood might appear sketchy at times - you will be fine. The interior is suprisingly nice. I think if this restaurant was in center city it would be among the most well-known restaurants. I can't even do justice describing the food. My recommended favorite meal: Ham croquettes for an appetizer, Bistec de Palomilla entree (ask for limes to squeeze over it - this is basically a thin steak cooked with onions), black beans and rice, tostones, tres leches cake for dessert and of course café con leche! HMMM!

I have been here twice. And, it is true, you cannot slide into the bar if you are wearing a skirt or dress. So wear pants or shorts, ladies, because how can you pass up entering a bar via a slide??? There is no cover. The bouncers like to keep the ratio higher on the girls' end, so if you show up with more guys than girls, be ready to stand next to a group of girls. Sounds typical, and it is. But I think the bouncers think the bar is more bougie than it really is. They play good music for dancing and pour very nice drinks (not watered down in the slightest). Ah, and for the water drinkers, they have VOSS!! Now that is some tasty water. The crowd is pretty mixed, which is my preference. And people tend to be very sociable, even to loud strangers ;-) It is likely I will go back, and I will keep posted as I experience more
