I gave El Chile a horrible review so I though I'd write a good one to balance things out. I love Red House! I love it so much I had my birthday party here. I haven't had a ton of interaction with the staff because I always sit on the side where you seat yourself & I order my pizza from the bar. However, the experience I've had with the bartenders has always been a positive one. I am not a fan of their margaritas. They were very nice when I took it back to the bar (yes I am one of those people that send drinks back, sorry :/) and kindly replaced it with a Dos XXs. Pizza was excellent & I really like the atmosphere. Both will keep me coming back .

My partner and I went to your bar on the evening of Friday, June 27, 2009 for a drink. We live in San Francisco. We got there around 8:00 p.m. We each paid a $5 entry fee.  We felt the entrance fee was OK because it was Pride Weekend.   We ordered a margarita (no special liquor) and a bottle of Amstel Light.  The first bartender charged us $19.  We were surprised but in the spirit of the weekend we appeared not to flinch.  About 30 minutes later we repeated the order at another station.  The second bartender charged us $18.  We looked at each other knowingly and smiled.  We subsequently left your bar feeling ripped-off. Speaking with others this bar can be pricey - depending on when you go.

I heart STK!  It is hands down the best modern and revamped steakhouse in new york.  the meat was perfect, make sure you get the bone in one.  otherwise, the seafood was delicious as well.  the diver scallops were so humongous and prepared perfectly.   the sauce on that was amazing, it's like a citrus and exotic fruit vinaigrette!  For the side, make sure you get the mixed mushrooms, it is so yummy!!  And lastly for desserts, make sure you get the pb & j creation!  It wont' be what you expect but you'll love it even more for that.   It'll definitely fill you up if the steak and the seafood hasn't already done the job. The whole meal was moderately priced, not bad at all for a big dinner on friday night.  just make sure you skip the cocktails, they're not that great AND they cost 16 dollars plus 15% gratuity.  I am used to paying 14 or 15 for yummy cocktails in meatpacking, but paying 16 for crap cocktails is just plain stupid. o, and in case you can't find it since there's no signage for the restaurant, just look for tenjune and it's right next to that. As soon as you see the fireplaces, you'll know you are looking at stk.
