by Cris I. on When i first arrived here i was "greeted" at the door by 2 security guards who were very idiotic. They saw my name on the guest list after they told me it wasn't there and i pointed it out to them. Then they proceeded to tell me there was going to be a $20 cover per person even though it was free until 11. I argued at the door and the paid for our cover after getting nowwhere with them. Inside the place was pretty dead. The music selection was also very horrible i dont think i'll ever go back there unless it's for a special event not hosted by this terrible venue.
by Giuseppe Thammavong on The Majestic's slogan is "Food that Pleases." Well, it's definitely... food. I guess. There are only two reasons to eat here: 1. You're a tourist, and want to eat somewhere iconic in Atlanta. (Fair enough.) 2. The bars have closed, it's 3am, and you're starving. The last time I ate here, we sat at the bar and our cook had a BAD case of plumber's crack. My hash browns arrived and for some reason my appetite had vanished... Hmmm... Of course, when you're drunk, the food tastes freaking delicious. However, when you're drunk you also think the coked out hipster you met at MJQ is actually a hottie.
by susan h. on The first time I came here I was a sophomore in High School. I remember not enjoying myself because I knew I was in trouble since I was out late on a school night. My 2nd visit was way better... We had our office holiday "event" here. The line up was great. There were a few meh comics out of the bunch. Some of my coworkers were a bit turned off by the humor, but I loved it. I felt a little ashamed at laughing at some of the jokes they thought were offensive. Hey, live a little! We had reserved seating which was nice. Our tickets came with 2 drink tickets. The cocktail waitresses did a fine job of bringing round after round. This is a definite go-to in LA.
