by Jeff S. on Bar tenders are rude and the managers are even worse. To top it off, it takes forever to get a drink, and the specials aren't any better than any where else on 6th. Finally, the clientele make the cast of Jersey Shore look like intellectuals. Given that there are dozens of other bars on East 6th, please pass on this one and just go across the street or next door.
by Kip Padavich on Please don't confuse this location with the original in Driftwood, Texas. This is for the satellite location at the Airport. While the food here is just fine, it's Salt Lick in name only. If you're visiting Austin and you only have time for a quick stop on your way out, then giddy-up, my friend! The airport location is for you. But if you've got an evening to drive down to Driftwood and experience the 5-star atmosphere, food, and people, then get on!
