by Fletcher Yan on Okay, I LOVE phoenix landing. It's a hole in the wall. And it's like the smallest "dance" floor ever. Basically, you come in, and it's the size of somebody's living room and there are tables everywhere. You can order food, drink, and hang out. And you wonder where the dancing happens, but then around 10pm, the staff clears the tables and chairs out of the way. So the entire area because a dancefloor. DJ comes and they play a mix of Top 40 hits and 80s, which is my favorite. If you don't want that kind of music, this place isn't for you. But it's insanely fun and it gets really packed around 11pm. You can also dance on the chairs, which also makes it easy to locate your friends in a crowded area. I've always met the most interesting and fun people at the Phoenix Landing. Drinks are usual price- $6/$7 for a mixed drink. As for cover, they start charging $3 around 9:30pm/10pm. But it's really fun!! Great place to dance and hang out for those who don't like to go to poshy places.
