by Jason C. on Usually go on Fridays, sometimes Saturdays. I highly recommend Fridays due to the fun music. Ben Beck and the Everyday crew hold it down for the side entrance. They are awesome people. Drinks can be cheaper and the bouncers can be nicer. This is why I enter through the side and now have to deal with the BS through the front. Avalon also has the most amazing sound system in Los Angeles, hands down! Please do check it out.
by Dwight Ringen on My opinion of this club is definitely biased because we went for a birthday party and got a table right on the dance floor and bottle service! I wasn't expecting to enjoy this place because I'm not a "clubber" but the club is absolutely gorgerous and the DJ makes it tough to not want to dance. The dance floor was huge and although I thought the live dancers and rolling video of a dancing girl was a little ridiculous it didn't take away from the experience. By far, the best choice I made all night was to follow the smell of tacos outside to the taco stand. I literally spent the next day trying to google the taco stand hoping it had a shack somewhere because the free tacos were DELICIOUS. I'm sure part of that was alcohol talking, but I can't think of a better addition to a club. Definitely get yourself on a list and get your friends to pitch in for bottle service if you can, otherwise there will probably be a line and a cover!
