by Nat L. on This place definitely has atmosphere. Dim lighting, funky decorations on the walls, and Elvis movies playing on a projector. My friends and I only went there for drinks, so I can't speak to the quality of the food. The margaritas were rather strong, but they're five bucks! Can't argue with that. This would be a cool place to hang out for a bit with friends. The bar area isn't all that big, so it may get cramped.

Located behind the Arena Nightclub on Santa Monica Blvd and open till 4 a.m. Circus is your spot for non stop dancing on Friday nights. I never know what to expect here. From a drag queen, celebrity impersonating contest to a dance off in the middle of the dance floor to drunk women dancing themselves stupid on the go go stages, there is always something crazy going on here. The music is great, the crowds are fun, and it is large with 3 different dance areas and a large outdoor patio for you to choose from. The best part, you will always find vendors outside selling the hot dogs with the bacon (yummy!).
