by Jen J. on I had a great dining experience here while visiting New York. I've eaten at the Los Angeles location, and thought the food here was much better than at it's LA counterpart. We went on a Friday night and the place was jam packed. There's a DJ spinning which made it sort of difficult to have a conversation, but was also pretty cool at the same time. For dinner we started off with the seafood platter which consisted of several different types of seafood including crab, oysters, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was very fresh and delicious. We also had the mini big macs which were amazing! For my entree I had the fillet mignon which was cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. The sides we chose were all excellent: creamed corn, mac and cheese, and mushrooms. This is definitely a good spot to grab a bite to eat (make reservations) or hang out at the bar and have a few drinks.
by Zachary Trucks on It's nice to find a place where you can actually taste wine without feeling like you're at a nightclub. This is a place for people who really want to appreciate wine. However, no need to be a wine expert to learn about wine here. Bruce is great at helping you find something you might like or learn about a varietal you've never tried before... his service (and knowledge) is great! The one time I went, and he wasn't there, (I think it was the owner/proprietor serving us), the service and friendliness was not good. Nonetheless, being able to create your own flight from a selection of wines from all over the world is awesome. Whether you're a wine expert or a beginner, you'll enjoy the experience!!
