I agree with the previous reviewer about the mix of people...this was my 5th Groove cruise (I've done 2 west coast ones previously) This was the first year they had an entire ship to ourselves which meant we had 2x the amount of people. The parties and the DJ''s were amazing...I really like Dirty South in the Bahamas and being able to dress up in crazy costumes (Tutu, bling, cowgirl, pink party) The vibe onboard is that of a group of people out to have fun, I went with my hubby and some single friends and we met a TON of new friends onboard again this year.....it's the plus of great nightclub music (house) but with the feel of hanging with your good friends...No fights I knew about, and people were friendly and it made it easy to meet new people. I did LOVE the Bliss pajama party too! After 5 of these cruises I'm looking forward to my 6th one (hopefully a west coast one) and I already booked my Miami 2012 Groove Cruise trip I was able to use a discount code: MEETUP (feel free to use as well it works for all the Groove Cruises) for $50pp off so my room was $579pp for a balcony, but others got inside rooms as low as $379pp.

There are (in my observance) 3 main coffee shops for predominantly Asians to hang out for a chat over coffee or to hook up on free WiFi while studying for an exam. 1) Mozart Bakery, 2) Maum, 3) White Windmill all off of Buford Hwy. White Windmill is currently the main coffee shop for most to hang out and chat or to study. The drink selections are about, if not, a slight bit less than the choices from Mozart and Maum. Regardless it doens't appear anyone is complaining the limited choices. The desserts options is far more in variety than Mozart and Maum combined. I feel that they emphasis more on their desserts and bakery. On Valentine's day they have up to 15 different designs all very nicely decorated. On the usual day, they constantly have new desserts created which are both nicely decorated and tasty. The taste are equally good as Mozart and Maum. As for the decoration of the desserts, I personally find the desserts from Maum much more beautiful and elegant than White Windmill. Their bread bakery options are also more than Mozart and Maum. You can see that it's freshly baked every day and it gives you the chance to sample it before you purchase. It's something that Mozart and Maum seem to lag behind on. The decor is nice, but not as nice as Maum (in my opinion) -- it's not as elegant. However it's more modern and bright in comparison to Maum. Somehow, where ever you sit as long it's sunny outside, you would love to be studying in here! It's very bright and you feel so alive! It's something that Mozart and Maum lacks.

This is a dump, right down to the peanut shells on the floor...but it's a dump with character. It sorta has a down home feel, with folding chairs and plaid-shirt-wearing men wielding acoustic guitars. Then again, that might be the rum and cokes talking...
