by Kyra M. on Well lets see, I am sorta cheap at times and this place gives you what u pay for. Myself and my gurls came down to hang for New Years. It was only 20.00 to get in advance. So naturally our cheap butts took advantage. First of all it was sorta nested in the hood. Parkin was free and plentiful. The crowd was 20's and not so classy. Come on, it's new years, meaning Jan, put some CLOTHES on! The place was a decent size with entry loung type room, reggae room and main floor. It got packed of course. The ballon drop was nice and so was the champagne. It was an interesting hood experience.
by Lindsay Regal on I visited the Majestic on Saturday and my experience wasn't too bad. It was around 3pm and not that busy. That might of made a difference. I didn't detect any obvious surlyness from the waitress. She took the order quickly and answered questions I had about what seemed to be a new age club around the corner. My order came up failry quickly and she was quick to offer refills and bring the check when I was done {I really like that}. Now the meal itself..hmm well ... I ordered a sausage omelet with grits , a pancake and pink lemonade to wash it down. Both the the omelet and and pancake were burned like I usually burn it when i cook it myself so no biggie. More or less on par with waffle house or International House of Pancakes. Just Like IHoP and Waffle House expect a layer of grime to cover everything. I tried not to stare at the assorted half opened butter and jelly packs under the grill. While there were sploches of moisture on most of the tables, at least they weren't sticky with syrup.. Even though this is a cash only restaurant, there is an ATM inside the diner in case you forget your wallet..
