Went here with my hubby and another couple who are good friends of ours and had a great time. We didn't have much trouble getting in (unlike the long line at Social next door) so I was worried it would be lame, but it just helped make the whole experience smoother since we weren't hard-core clubgoers anyway. The interior is gorgeous, I like the layout of this mansion-turned-club a lot. There were enough bars, both inside and outside so there was never too long a wait to get a drink. The interior was very roomy with plenty of tables and hallways to walk around so you didn't feel like the huge warehouses some clubs tend to feel like. There was even a nice patio outdoors where you can get some fresh air after getting too hot from the dancing. We spent some time here when we were tired of dancing and it was a nice break to be able to just have drinks and talk to my friends. The music was decent, though not as good as some clubs in Vegas...definitely better than the last bay area club I've been to though. I gotta say though this is the first club I've been to where there were way more girls than guys, not that I minded since we were coupled up anyway. Cover is a bit pricey at $20 but it was worth it for a hassle-free night of dancing. Make sure you grab some yummy bacon dogs when you get out of the club at 2am!

One of the best brunch joints in Philly! Delicious coffee and a great menu. I'm absolutely obsessed with the savory chicken crespelle (chicken sauteed with exotic mushrooms, rosemary, white wine and fontina cheese drizzled with white truffle oil). Yum! Worth the $8.50 price tag and every bit as delicious as it sounds. My only complaint about this place is the tables are way too small. We usually get seated at those teeny-weeny white round tables and if you've got a party of three or more, it can get a bit tight.

I went to Lava this Saturday night, and had a pretty good time. It was PACKED- and the music was going all night. The music was ok- typical of a dance club, and the majority of people were bobbing right along with the music. There are lots of different levels, and it is attached to Cosmo- somewhat confusing since this is basically the same place. Four different bars where you can grab a quick drink- and generally quick bar tenders. I liked the different bars and the different DJs to get more variety in one club. There is also an outdoor deck so you can grab some breathing room from the mass amounts of people in close to the bars and dancing. A fun place to go with your friends and just let go for the night dancing and having a good time. Not the best atmosphere I have seen here in Atlanta- but it is sure to provide a good time.
