Some how even though it reminds me of a cross between the Love Boat and Blade Runner(but not as dark..more like the Fifth Element)......the place isn't tacky at all. The food is fresh, not greasy, tastes great and has no MSG..................three thumbs up! I wonder if they would let me film a short film there.......you know something about a serendipitous adventure that starts out innocently enough when a guy in the future goes on a quest for great drunken noodle..

I can't say I remember many details about this place, but I do remember it being a lot of fun. I would normally give this place four stars. The bar itself is nothing incredible, but our bartender single-handedly earned Jake's Dilemma its fifth star. We sat at the bar, and our bartender really took care of us all night long: as my just-emptied pint glass made its way from my face to the the bar, a full one slid to a stop in front of me...every time. And the place wasn't so empty that this should have been easy. I was quite impressed. And even when we could no longer see or drink anymore, he put water after water in front of us. I just don't ever see that happen at other places. The other guests were friendly, too, and just looking to have a good time. I find it rare to be at a place where people are open to randomly meet others, but Jake's Dilemma didn't feel this way. All in all, a great place. I'll definitely be back.
