by Roberto A. on The Kong is king. Of sleaziness, that is. The downstairs restaurant is pretty grimy and the food is generic Chinese food. However, that does not mean that you do not end up stumbling in after a night of drunken debauchery. Said debauchery will likely be due to the even grimier upstairs club area and their mind altering scorpion bowls. I would not recommend this place unless you are an undergrad or a really sleazy older guy trying to pick up college chicks, but it is definitely the liveliest place in the Square. Honestly, it's nothing great, but the memories, or lack thereof, make (or made, in my younger days) it worth visiting.
by Tanika Hossler on Everything is average here. Yea go travel channel...you def. hyped this place up and made all the newbies come and spend their time and money! And then I went over to Pat's and wow...what a surprise!! another average cheesesteak.... Go to Jim's for steaks. That's all i will say.
by Jennifer S. on i was honored to have attended this "STYLE" network event through my friend. my friend's friend, is apparently going to have her own show on the STYLE network, which i think is SOO* cool.... after i find out what the show is called, i'll totally update! it's not like i like going out everyday, but this was definitely a cool event, and rather a neat venue... the 4 story features a basement club, a lounge and some chinese decor with a rooftop bar with a 360degree Hollywood view...the top, being my favorite, offers a full service bar and raised cabanas on both sides.. nice! there's even these lil things where you and your lovebug can snuggle together. hehe i can't really comment on the food and the drinks because i don't know if it was Kress who catered or whether it was the Style Network who brought the goodies. overall, i wouldn't mind chilling at the Kress... parking was rather confusing, and located in the back ... overall experience: 3 but the Style Event: 5.
