by Stanley G. on There was a girl on the dance floor who was 6 months pregnant, grinding on some dude with a short dress on... ...giving it 1 star is a compliment. I can't understand the kind of people that actually was allowed to enter this club! It's supposed to be, or was, a Hollywood hotspot. smh. My boy was DJing there that night on the second floor so that's the reason why me and my friend considered it. Getting into the club was no problem. Told them we were with the DJ, saw our names on the list, no cover charge! I would of been pissed if they charged me for what I was about to walk in to. The crazy thing was that the people in line didn't look too bad. But once you walked in, ((puts head down)) complete disaster. A vodka and soda was like $10.00. Seriously? And I wasn't even arguing about the cost of the drink at the time, because I wanted to take as many as I could to forget about what mistake I made going there. People say the rooftop bar is where you need to be to have fun. I don't believe it. This should be Plan Z if you ever want to go out in Hollywood. Plan Z.
by Ezra Chary on The pictures of this place are gorgeous, however they lack total truth. I went there for a friend's birthday party. The drinks were way too much, the beds are dirty, and the DJ was so-so, and the crowd was too rowdy for my taste. I wouldn't go back again.
by Dave S. on I love JBs. Along with it's sister bar, The Standard Tap, it's in my top 5 bars in Philly. Where else could you down a PBR (or a much better brew), nosh on some gourmet pub fare, shoot a couple games of pool, and see a show all in the same place??
