This is my new favorite place in Williamsburg... starting off with the sangria.. served by a cute and friendly bartender Brandon... to the chicken tacos and guacamole.. A stellar evening in one of the coolest venues I've seen in a while.. not to mention.. you get to ride the mechanical bull after the sangria sets in.

I love The Endup, whether it's Shangri-la or any other night. Been there both during regular bar hours and after hours, when I need somewhere to go after the bars close and I'm not tired enough to go to bed yet. Despite all the different types of people that can be there at the end of the night, I've always felt a good vibe, and most importantly, that it's a safe place to be, for me to party until the wee hours of the morning. PS - I was there late on Halloween night and I may have dropped my camera there sometime, a blue Canon camera. The photos on there are irreplaceable from a wonderful Halloween spent with friends. If anyone's seen it, I'd appreciate any information on it! Thank you!

All I can say is that if you don't act like you know what's up(and/or have a promoter to get you in), they will take advantage of you and leave you outside. My friend Stef and I were on the VIP list Monday night and when we rolled in around 2AM, the bouncers had us wait at the door. Since it was cold and they didn't ask us if we were on the list(plus we tried to tell them and they got all rude), I was like just call the guy, so he can come out and get us. Then the bouncers were like "Oh, who are you here with?" Only then did they let us in. Talk about jerks on a power trip! We get inside and the club is crazy. The music is awesome and blasting from every corner; good mixes too, not corny little oldies music like some places try to pass off as cool. However, some people were soo wasted and sloshing their drinks all over the place. I slipped at least 3 seperate times due to someone bumping me and/or slipping on a puddle of liquor. Granted, I didn't fall, but that is ridiculous. Our VIP table didn't feel so VIP; mainly because our promoter invited a lot of people. But we did get our free drinks, so it made up for it, I guess. The bathrooms were okay as well. The attendant was very helpful and informative, directing people to the open restrooms or moving people off to the side mirror if they were doing make-up. I'd love to come back to this place sometime when people aren't crowding and bumping you from every angle. It actually was pretty cool for the most part.
