ehhhh hmmm where to start.. This was the old Boss, I've never been to boss but I heard about it and it never appealed to me. Since the remodel I've been here twice for someone's birthday. The first time I went it was a sat and got there about 1230.. there was still a line and it took a while to get in. It was super packed inside and the music is just like every other club playing top 40 hits. The decor was nice but it's small inside and hard to get around and dance. The second time around was on a friday and we got there early for the guestlist.. no wait there and it was pretty dead inside. The theme of the night was 'house party' i guess and there a keg of blue moon with two ladies giving out the free beer to whoever wanted it until it was tapped out. By the end of the night there was a good turnout and it wasn't as crowded as the first time. Overall, I had ok experiences there but I wouldn't go there unless I had to for someone's birthday.. which is why i went there in the first place

"Look what the cat hauled in. Me and a couple friends. Don't need to settle down. My body don't know how..." Maybe it was alcohol working it's magic, but my body seriously didn't know how to settle down last night! Mad Hatter Halloween party was poppin'! Cool DJ spinning tunes of all sorts. He could have played more top 40 hits, but at least the music was danceable and the transitions flowed smoothly. Bathrooms were nice and clean (emphasis on "were"). After a few hours into the evening and a mass of drunk girls running in and out, every stall was trashed. And to the chick that BLED onto the floor in the 2nd stall - you nasty. Regardless of the bloody bathroom, I definitely think Slide is one of the nicer clubs in SF. Small, but not too small. Crowded, but not too crowded. There was the perfect amount of people gettin' down without feeling stuffy and claustrophobic. Haaaay to all the eye-candy that came out last night, especially Gonzo! Drinks were decently strong. However, after the AMF, I was a walking disaster. 3 inch heels + linoleum = my booty constantly making friends with the floor. With bruises on my body and blisters on my toes, I had tons of fun at Slide. I'm leaving 1 star off until I'm wearing the appropriate attire to go down the slide at the entrance. Talk about being strict by having Alice In Wonderland guarding the slide, but I guess they don't want chicks in dresses showing off their vajayjay to the rest of the club. Thanks for saving us from that image.
