I went here on a Saturday night with some friends when Travie McCoy was performing. We arrived around 10ish and the line was ridiculous. We were on guestlist, but apparently everyone else in line was as well. Luckily we were able to just walk in the front and get in (oh the great thing about going with a group of girls) but we had to pay the cover fee. It was a really nice club. I loved the decor. The bathrooms were interesting since it was not separated, but they had people working the line so it would go by pretty fast. It was crowded, but not to the point where you couldn't dance, which was nice! Occasionally I'd feel a fan or a breeze of air as well. I loved that it was conveniently located right next to the BART station, so if you wanna get your drink on, you can take public transportation and not have to worry! Haha. Overall I had a great time!

P.O.S. For the unsavvy, that's "piece of sh*t." The crowd is a convention of 'A Shot at Love' auditioners. Combined with morning-drive-to-work talent from ??? FM and "they found me on the corner" bartenders, this place is shoot-me-in-the-face fun. Sober, drunk, or blacked out, I have failed to enjoy Trinity.

After a splendid concert (Leonard Cohen at the Fox), we had missed dinner and were looking for an opportunity. I remembered wanting to come here for a long time. The place was loud - a DJ was playing, people were lively - I could see how this could be a good thing, but it wasn't what I wanted after the concert. The host was extremely comforting and the service was gracious. The decor was maybe a little less together than I anticipated, but not like eye-stabby. But who cares about that? Why did I even write it? The food! It was very tasty and quite interesting. The mixed green salad was perhaps the most interesting salad ever: blackberries, pistachios, goat cheese and honey-lavender dressing were surprising, in a good way. It could have gone in easier, more accessible directions, but instead was unexpectedly pleasing. Scallops were great - horseradish celery wasn't overpowering and the shellfish themselves were done just right. The roast chicken was DIVINE. It was done in a way that infused the meat with the just right amount of flavor, the skin was crisp, light and somehow puffy in a wonderful manner. By the time we left, we were so happy we sent the DJ a beer, tipped well and started deciding what we'd try next time. This merged well with reflections on the show immediately before, and how this ended the night on the right note.
