by mwhateley on I will never go back to this place. I went in on a Monday evening. We asked the waitress if there were any drink specials and we were told there were no specials. I was there with my girlfriend and two male companions. When I went to the bathroom I notices a "Monday night ladies night special 25% off your bill" were no special details or requirements on the flyer. When we asked about the special the barmaid said the ladies would have to be on a separate bill and spend at least $25 dollars. We said this was no problem. Then she tells us we have to have at least 6 women in our party? It sounds as if they make up stipulations to their specials as they go. The bar was not busy at all but we were constantly looking for our waitress for service. It gets worse....last call was called at 1:35am. We ordered our last drinks. 10 minutes later a party of about 6 young adults entered the bar and we served beers and shots by the manager/barmaid Rene. She continued to serve all of these people at the bar for the next 25 minutes but denied service to anyone else in the bar. My waitress had stopped by during this time with my bill and then disappeared and yells is the a problem here! Unbelievable, I had many people join my party that night at the bar and we spent a few hundred dollars between us. You would think they would have catered to us based on the fact that we were the only ones spending money. Apparently, you need to be "friends" with Rene the barmaid/manager to get good service regardless of how much you spend. Never going again. When I went to cash out at the bar....Rene the manager said "Amanda is your server, you will have to find her to cash out." Rene was obviously too busy serving a select few at the bar to cash out my tab and winning keno ticket. I was a bit frustrated and went back to Rene and asked if I could at least get my keno winnings. She ripped the ticket disgustedly from my hands and sighed with aggravation. Our waitress walked up at this time and I proceeded to complain about the service and treatment over the coarse of the evening. Rene spins around back and wish this place good riddance.
