by Lesliegh H. on This is review is just for the jazz club. Went there recently to watch Ricardo Lemvo and La Makina Loca. The band was amazing...played salsa, cha cha, mambo, cumbia, merengue! Loved them! There was enough general admission ($20) seating on the first floor so my group had easy access to the decent sized dance floor. The club is air conditioned so I never felt like I was going to die of heat stroke from all the dancing. My one complaint is that the waitress service was a tad bit slow. Took about 20 mins to get 2 beers and a glass of wine. But whatever, I was too busy dancing to drink. Though drinks are on the expensive side. The waitress did give us a good tip. If you buy tickets online, and pay an extra $20 bucks, you have have your seating reserved anywhere in the joint, and can then use those $20 to order food/drinks. Awesome deal if you ask me. I am definitely coming back soon to watch another show!
by Margaretta Leneave on Its a cool scene that's for sure. Great place to bring an out-of-towner. Hey don't lie to yourself if you are a New Yorker you have to come here at least once. The prices are extreme even for my standards and I don't usually complain. The food though is just ehh.. The Saki selections are good, but the service, oh my the service...... It is some of the worst service I have ever experienced. There seems to be a 10 minute pause between everything dishes coming out new drink orders, etc..
