Very fun! We went there two nights in a row when we were in LA back in August! It definately has that Hollywood vibe! People are there to party - thats how a good club should be! Everyone in a good mood, dancing, drinking, mingleing (only on the patio - too loud to mingle inside)! Everyone looks good! the music was just something out of this world! Whoever is a DJ there - he does a great job! We met lots of fun people there that made our LA experience unforgettable! Love you and miss you, Playhouse! xox Alex

I've been trying to grab a bite here forever, but I finally got the chance last week. I like the shabby ambiance of B.B. I had a lamb dish, very good. The plantains were a bit greasy, but that's a too easy complaint. But a dance club... Really? If it is, I would be afraid of doing a shimmy right into a bowl of couscous!!!

Although we went really early (8pm) for dinner, the food was great (steak sandwich, french fries) and drinks were reasonably priced - my neon green mint chocolate cocktail tasted like liquid Andes' ($5.75) and the waitress was actually Irish, making sure we were aware that Irish Coffee was really whiskey and coffee not the americanized bastardization of Bailey's in Coffee, and giving us a blank stare when my friend asked how a real "irish carbomb" was made! We later walked by around midnight and the place was booming with the night crowd (as expected here in Boston when the masses like to come out for the last 2 hours of the night for some reason!)
