A friend of mine from work had recommended Parish and we decided to meet up there after work. As I arrived I walked in through the ground floor where the market was located and they seem to have a few items that were rather nice. I had been told about the Parish "Gumbo", so we went into the restaurant and ordered the famous gumbo...........believe me it was one of the best gumbos' I had ever tasted in Atlanta, not too salty, but rich with flav. I followed the gumbo with this incredible crawfish dish, it was filled with crawfish, a creamy base and a light puff pastry topping............I was sold ............unfortunately it was a seasonal item and every visit to Parish, I hoped I will find it on the menu...........no such luck...........I have been there a few times, tried a few other dishes but nothing compares to that "limited edition one of a kind crawfish dish"

this used to be a great little low key secret hide-away, but went the week after their "time out review" and couldn't find a place to sit. still, it's worth watching the sun set with a bucket of beer on the top tier above the pier. favorites are turntables on the hudson (summer fridays) or swiss day.
