by Maureen M. on TERRIBLE!!! My boyfriend and I came here after I had read reviews on rateclubs. We wanted to check it out, arrived and the host came out to greet us and told us it would be a 20 min wait but took our number and suggested we go to their sister restaurant el ray around the corner while we wait. Sounded promising. El ray was alright, good sangria but the girl who was bartending forgot about our check 3x before we closed out after RR had called us for our table. Went back to RR when they had told us they had a table but we still had wait 10 minutes. They told us they had to seat us at a 4 person booth because all the 2's were taken but if they had a 4 walk in they'd move us (sounds real cool douche bag). Sat down. Ordered drinks. WAITED for 17 minutes and still had not recieved our drinks. So we bailed. F this place. You're a fool for going and waiting around like an idiot. This place thinks they're too cool for anyone, also too cool to have good service.
by Ginny N. on Talk about atmosphere - Dantes is overflowing with it. http://www.dantesdownt.../ Eating fondue on the upper deck of a rather large ship right smack in the middle of a restaurant... AND with live crocodiles below you!!! It's definitely something you should experience at least once. Its fun regardless of the occasion. And to boot- Live jazz music almost every night.
