by Amber H. on I love going here because the food is definitely a nice break from the usual Tex-Mex joint. When you walk in it has a fancy feel to it but the menu prices do not reflect that. I love starting off with their delicious salsa and black bean dip but my very favorite thing that I cannot leave without tasting are their plantains. Absolutely to die for. I gave it 4 stars for two reasons...1.because there is always a wait and rarely can we find a spot at the bar to wait at. And 2. you have to park fairly far away from the restaurant and on a weekend night, you may be parking quite a ways away. Other than that....I love it!
by Jed Wiederin on I was really surprised at the size of this place, and with the out door patio. The venue area is also a good size, although the stage is small. I liked it though, it reminded me of some of my favorite places to perform in Brooklyn. The outdoor patio had heat lamps, so even on the last night of November, it was quite comfortable. I would imagine with all the spaces it can get pretty busy here but I haven't been here during peak weekend hours so I don't know how crazy it gets, but their Monday night special is Dollar PBRs and 2 Dollar well drinks!

"sorry...we don't have any glenlivet"... so sad...cuz..that's my buddy....ok ok...i hang with my irish buddy, james...jameson... normally don't come here....i still remember it as "up and down"..yeah...back in the days....why the visit to this 2 level hip-hop club?...it was sf's favorite miss. asian party promoter's birthday.....got the "vip treatment"...oooh...shorter line...little red ticket to get in for free....felt like i was 23 again...i'm too old for this asian party scene...i hung out with jameson.....entertained friends...hugs and kisses....and hitched a ride home....funny.....last thing i remember is getting in the car....just woke up today around 11am with the worst hangover...oh..jameson..never again will i hang out with you again...
