I like Brunos. I like the odd mixture of people. I like getting lost in it's odd rooms. And I certainly like the fact that they have stripper poles upstairs for the folks who like to get down and dirty. Simply put, Brunos is the type of place where there's such an odd mix of everything, it works!! It definitely has character and it's located about 2 doors down from cha 3! How perfect is that? A night of Sangria followed by a night of Sangria-induced pole dancing? Sounds lovely to me. . . .

I did not have Supper here. In fact I rarely eat Supper. And if I do and it's a Friday night (such as this) then Supper usually consists of green olives or lemon twists or maraschino cherries or lime wedges. But when I arrived at Supperclub there was a hiccup in my usual dinner plans - Strawberries and Chocolate Fondue set up in the Coat Check area. The party was a private event with a red and white theme a la Valentines Day and I have to say it was very cool and not at all cheesy as you would expect something themed to be. The soft red lighting and the huge white beds were made for Valentines day amore, while the Reggae and Dancehall beats bumping throughout the club were all I needed (beyond a few martinis and a few giant strawberries) to keep me in the mood for love. However, when I woke up the next morning at 5am, I was no longer in the mood for love. I was, however, in the mood for hugging my toilet and tossing my cookies. The most unpleasant morning I have had in a VERY long time. But thanks to the strawberries from Supperclub it was red and white and Valentines all over.
