by Mitch F. on Of all the places in Atlanta my friend picked Top Flr for her birthday dinner. Reservations were made (a crucial sentence) online, and our suburban crowd (Roswell, Woodstock and Alpharetta) loaded up to make the trek intown for dinner. When we arrived a crowd was milling about and the doors were locked. Somebody finally came out and said they were closed because the floors were being refinished. No call back, no email; nothing. Unacceptable. Needless to say we won't be back.
by Maudie Deshler on One star for realllllly good house music. One star for the coat check that sells cigarettes. One star for the vast outdoor patio to smoke said cigarettes. The drug scene ain't my scene. Aaaaaaand I wasn't aware this is typically a gay club (not that there's anything wrong with that), but 2/3 a way through the night we were told we couldn't take pictures because of the possiblility of outing some closeted folks in attendance who might happen to end up in the background of my shot. Whatevs. $20 cover. Cash bar. Two stalls in the bathroom so there's always a line. Guess you have to be high to love this place. It's just okay in my book. I'd come back when I need a change of pace from my usual scene...
