So my friend and I decided to have a blind Night out so we went into this place thanks to rateclubs. I loved the vibe and the decor , music was just right/proper for the crowd. I don't know why rateclubs says it's a gay bar...

The boyfriend and I went here on NYE with a bunch of our friends, and we loved it! (Just to further explain: we really never go to clubs.. the BF doesnt dance, and we're broke most of the time.. but even he loved this bar!) We went during one of the Miss Kittys Parlour events (again, the NYE bash.) There was no cover at the door, and "VIP passes" were only $10. But the drinks were seriously overpriced. My friend ordered a whiskey sour and it was about $13, and he said it was mostly ice. A warning though, if you happen to be narrow minded or not accepting of others, this is not the club for you. During Miss Kitty nights, you'll see all walks of life and lifestyles, and even a few naked bums. Everyone that goes here seems to be extremely friendly. The "VIP" part was... an alley behind the building. Literally. I was confused as well. It wasnt anything extra awesome.. we went back inside because it was more entertaining. The best part is, theres no real dress code. You can go dressed up or jeans and a tshirt. They're really laid back and friendly. You save on admission but if you want to drink, there goes all your money. But we'll definitely be going back.

I have been to this spot 2x. Both times I just tasted the appetizers. The first time I had the Chocolate wings, which honestly look like crap, but they are actually pretty good. A bit on the spicy side with a deep coco flavor, the wings are prepared perfectly, Id definitely order them again. Everyone seems to be scared of them though:) I have also had the jerk wings, which have a sweet/spicy flavor to them. Once again, an appetizer with about 10 wings, moderately priced and very tasty. I have to mention the presentation at this spot is impressive, the chef seems to put a lot of energy into actually making the food look as good as possible...so I respect that. The calamari is a bit "off point", way too salty and the aoli sauce that comes with it definitely is not a good compliment to the dish. The ambiance here is extremely smooth. This place had become extremely popular for like a month, and since that point I think things have kinda died down. I have heard a lot about the entrees at this place, judging by the appetizers, I wouldn't doubt all the rave reviews.
