by Wilhemina Bastin on I know it looks like Im always giving 4 stars but the places I remember the most are the ones I love and Flip Burger is no exception. Went for lunch on a friday about 1 and the place was packed. The lady at the front was very helpful with putting my party down (I miscounted the number but she said it was no problem) and we were seated under the 30 min wait time. The menu was straight forward. Burgers of all types and tastes with some interesting sides. When I first try a new place I see how well they can do a classic first. I tried the bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato tots. It was an A+ for sure. Well cooked and seasoned and so were the tots. Was a lil concerned about the texture of sweet potato but was not disappointed a nice crispy exterior and a moist but firm inside. I did not get a chance to try the shakes but my co-diners split a krispy kreme shake was amazing. I can not wait to go again, great job Richard Blais!
by Kelly C. on To quote the bartender "every night is guilty pleasure night here!" If you are looking for sloppy good fun, this is your new favorite place. Drinking your fill and dancing your pants off is the standard are here. I'm sure the Jello shots have a lot to do with this. I like that there are 3 areas - a bar, dance floor and smoking porch. My only complaint is that the bar and dance floor are always packed, and the smoking porch is usually empty. I wish we could redistribute that. Speaking of the dance floor, the DJ has always spun great music that keeps every drunk on the dance floor much longer than they should. Also, ladies please be warned that while there are 2 bathrooms, only one has a toilet.
by Carrie R. on Ambiance is nice...love the old movies playing on the wall!! The dips for the chips ROCK!! Especially the warm bean dip. Oh hells yeah. Drinks are strong...food is so/so (ceviche, not so much! lol). Great place for a birthday as many have mentioned...and it's within walking distance of other establishments if your tastes feel like wandering.
