by Rebecka Furuya on Tom Catherall's new concept restuarant & bar, Aja, is a total hack job. The Asian decor conflicts with many asian cultures ( It's personally insulting.) They play cheesy chinese kung fu movies on thier flat screens. What else can I say?!?! The food is no better than any other Tom Catherall Restaurants. It's a hit or miss when ordering from the menu. Friends say the red snapper wtih curry sauce is pretty authentic but the dim sum is god awful.

It's especially fun, when you're out on the patio, shaking your thang to the sounds of a live salsa band with a margarita in hand and the sun beaming on your warm body. I swear if you close your eyes you might even feel like you're on a tropical vacation. It's a great way to end the perfect fun-filled gay weekend.
by Michelle L. on Amazing bands, wildly colorful capoeira performances, and great energy from the crowd. You'll end up dancing the night away, whether or not you "can dance". SOB (aka Sounds of Brazil) definitely makes for a memorable night out. Careful with the special shows which, while awesome, can push the admission price to $20.
