by Monica L. on "Aren't we cool?" Russell Peters is the first thing that I thought of when I walked into Medjool on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday party. The answer inevitably is no. I may not be cool but, I can still cut a rug. The bathrooms scared this huge bouncer in line before me. Needless to say, I didn't stick around to find out.
by Maryam Urbaniak on I really like the Fig Martinis that they make here. They actually have a fig vodka and they drop some black mission figs in the bottom of that pretty chilled glass. I had a sidecar Martini here once too. That was delicious but I'm going to have a fig one every time I come here because it is a really good drink and I love figs. This place would be a good place to hang out if you were a vampire and needed to avoid light. It is very dimly lit. I haven't done any Karaoke here yet, but I'm told they have it. The service is impeccable and friendly.
