According to the business card, this isn't your father's steak house. Cheesy but I guess it's not. Super upscale, contemporary beautiful ambiance, incredibly yummy and considered to be a restaurant/lounge with dim lighting. Located in the Meatpacking District - a definite plus is the fact that it is open late and aside from the overall ambiance of the restaurant, everything seemed to come together perfectly. Whether you're there on a date or with a bunch of friends. You won't be too disappointed. The food, though a bit pricey was scrumptious. When deciding between the skirt steak and the fillet Mignon - spend the extra ten dollars and go for Mignon. It's deliciouso. As for the sides, the sauteed mushrooms, creamy spinach & mashed potatoes are where it's at. Ever had a NOhito? No, well you should and this is the place to definitely get it. Nojito, was nothing short of orgasmic. Oh, and did I mention they had a DJ booth?...in a restaurant? Kind of weird but I guess it's cool. I'd go back hoping to have a celebrity siting one day...

I'm reading the reviews here thinking "Did I go to the same Emerald Pub as these people?" An old friend of mine just had a birthday party here and if it wasn't for the company I would of left after my first drink. It being the weakest drink I've ever had at a bar period. $9 for a rum and coke that tasted like water with a vague hint of cola and perhaps half an eyedropper of rum. I had a second thinking it may have just been the bartender, and it was just as bad. LAME! I liked the darkness of the bar itself and it would be nice if the music wasn't blasting so loud. Everyone was putting their ears to other peoples mouths so they could hear what was being said. Not a place for catching up on old times. That and on a Friday night at 11pm is was so dead you could feel the freezing night air rolling through the place. I would never ever go back here even if someone else was buying the drinks. It's out in the middle of now where and totally lame. It gets 1 star because I can't give it less. There are a million better pubs in NYC, with cheaper prices and much better atmosphere. I will not be back.

This is by FAR my favorite Restaurant in Atlanta. Actually, I enjoy all of the restaurants in this family of eateries (Concentric restaurant Group is the name i think)... I visited most recently 2 weeks ago. I always start with the calamari and ginger ale. The Calamari is a tad thick, but the sauce is divine!. The pizzas are superb. The lamb is Scrumptious as is the steak. The macaroni with truffles is a tad strong for my taste, but my mom loved it! And of course the BEAUTY of the experience was the $25 coupon (yes! a coupon for $25 to ONE... can you believe it?:-) that was attached to the parking ticket from TWO Urban Licks the prior week when I dined there... And THAT is why I love this family of restaurants!!! plus the ambiance and food are just deLISH!!!
