by Daniel B. on Came here on a weeknight and the place was absolutely slammed and very loud. This restaurant has an older crowd with a lot of business travelers. There were also a couple birthday parties going on. Food is average. We had the calamari appetizer, Cajun chips (nachos with shrimp, crawfish, scallions, melted cheese, etc.), and their burger. Calamari lacked a lot of flavor. Their peach cobbler is pretty good, though. Service was fine. There are a few TVs scattered about the interior playing ESPN, but they aren't HD. Also, the restaurant is very dimly lit and I could barely read the menu. The attractive female wait staff automatically adds 1 star to my rating.
by Madeline Eberlin on I have tried this place a few times thinking since its so close to work I should really give it a chance. Well that chance is up today, the food is overpriced for what it is and its also not that great. The service keeps getting worse and worse each time I go there. And they charge you extra for to go orders, 10cents per item to be exact which is not stated on their to go menu. They mess up my order each time, I should charge them for having to walk back and forth each time. And today the waitress got snappy with me. Don't waste your time or money here, there are plenty of great mexican restuarants near downton that are so much better!
