We were seated in the center and I was a bit concern that I may not be able to see the performer, Bobby Caldwell (he was AWESOME by the way), but luckily nobody super tall sat in front of me. The ordering of the two drinks requirement is a bit confusing - maybe they can explain on the website or on the menu. You need to order both drinks and unless you specify, you will get the same drinks twice. Our waiter was not friendly, actually he was rude while the table next to us had a very friendly waitress. Although food is offered, I think it'll be hard to eat it and I really didn't see anyone eat unless at Yoshi's. Before the show began, they played video of upcoming artists. I started with a Negroni ($12) followed by Sweet Tea ($13). Hubby had Crown Royal on the rocks. The Stylistics will be playing in October so we know we will be returning.
by Ema Mccaman on I would come back. Have met some interesting people here. Have also met some uninteresting people here as well. But, at least you are meeting people, eh? Don't really feel like sharing any stories, but let's just say it'll be a memorable visit.
by Jewel Cottier on This bowling place is huge!!!! T and I came here for an after party and I was delighted to see that it was pretty empty. T prefer the place to be more crowded but I definitely don't since I don't like a lot of people. =OP After an hour, T's wish came true and people arrived in swarms and eventually 6 people arrived directly next to our lane. But these six people kept coming into our space, which I found very annoying. T kept on yelling and getting excited over her Strikes and smiling way too much. I had to tell T to stop smiling and don't be too friendly. Soon this one annoying dude kept asking us to hit our bowling balls together. I ignored him for I didn't want to encourage him nor did I want to socialize with him. He just kept trying to force me to talk to him that he was even bold enough to sit next to me and asked me if it annoys me. Long story short - I had to get the Police Officer on him to end it. Moral of the story...I bowl two great games after he left since T was kicking my butt at the beginning since I was so heated by that prick. Bring loads of people rather than just one like I did - this way your whole group can take up two lanes and no one will bother you. And don't bring anyone that smiles too much or encourages other people to act like &(*)($(A$(#$. (I still love T!) I prefer this place over the bowling place near Union Square.
