Classy... picture of marlene deitrich on the wall... Columbian music and some cool band. Not bad. I heard this place used to be sorta chichi... Few people dancing. Not packed though. it was raining tonight, I'll come back again to see what the crowds like on weekend I guess.

THis place blows. one star is too much. There isn't a zero star option. I went here to see Pnuma Trio. They are a sweet band. The door guys were such douche bombs that I stopped our group at the door and considered not going in at all. Talk about a VIBE KILLER. Bar tenders were tools. The 'security' wore suits and didn't do jack shit when friend almost got in a fight. He was texting someone and trying to look cool. This place has not changed a lick since it was a destination for 'Second Sundays' . I wouldn't go here, not even to see your favorite band. If you are in a band, don't be offended when no tickets are sold. You're better of busking on a street corner. Don't GO HERE!!!!

Housed in my favorite hotel in Atlanta, Spice Market's been on my list of restaurants to try in the 404 for awhile now. I dug the chicness of Jean-Georges Vongerichten's southern outpost but must admit that the decorative ropes reminded me eerily of nooses. The Spice Market menu is the restaurant's tasting option. It consists of five courses with two tastes per course. If you go this route, be sure not to eat too much in the beginning or else you'll regret it during the final courses. Dessert is stellar at Spice Market and you will definitely want to partake - especially in the Ovaltine® Kulfi and the Thai Jewels and Fruits. Oddly enough, I think my favorite part of the meal was the gratis starter of papadums and chutney. The flavors were fantastically bright and seemed to sing in my mouth. Service was outstanding. Besides the noose-like ropes hanging from the ceiling, the only other off-putting experience at Spice Market was the faintly soapy taste in a couple of the dishes. Not so yummy. . .
