by lizzie p. on omg, this restaurant is amazing. first of all, it was packed on thursday night but we got a nice table on the first floor by the fireplace. there's an outside and an upstairs and a bar area. our waiter, ron? rod?, was GREAT. he was attentive but not overly so. he helped us pair our wines with our food. he was able to describe every dish and make suggestions. we went with the mussels for app. mmmm i had the pork tenderloin and my date had the trout special. both were DELISH. we got pecan pie for dessert....heavenly! nice place....popular tho...i had to wait for the bathroom and it was upstairs. i saw ladies at the bar drinking martinis and they looked yum-o!! i would definitely take people here!!!!
by Lance H. on This absolutely gorgeous club made for absolutely magical evening. Even at first entrance, the intimate lobby had such unique charm and character. The entire club seemed immaculately cared for. Everything appeared to be in wonderful care and perfect repair. I didn't even see any light bulbs out. Though I didn't use the restrooms myself, I heard they were adequately sized and perfectly acceptable. As far the performance room, to say I was impressed would be an understatement. This place as a concert venue is absolutely top notch. The lighting, sound and overall architecture of the room is wonderful. And it is quite sizable, larger than I expected. Even the acoustic treatment on the ceiling is attractive. The room, quite simply, is perfect. Every employee we encountered was pleasant. Although the service was somewhat less that desirable when ordering drinks. (The show we saw had table-style seating throughout with multiple servers working the floor.) My other complaint was that the club has a two drink minimum but does not run tabs or accept credit cards. WTF?! We had to pay cash after every round of drinks. I get that there's a lot of people in there, but come on. Get a computer system that lets you track guests by seat number and run me a check. Jeez. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience. If you get a chance to see a great performer there, TAKE IT! You won't regret it.
