Short Story: they are liars. And horrible service. Long Story: Its my birthday and the only two things I wanted were dancing and vodka. I asked around and everyone said whatever you do, don't do manor west. but manor west was going to give me the best deal. $100 off a bottle of top shelf vodka, comp a bottle of champ, and no two bottle minimum. And I can have 12 people that are on the all night no line/no cover list and and as many people on the before 11pm list. Sweet deal, right? Well I get there, and there is no comp bottle of champ, only the people that were there with me were the ones that were not hassled. Friends that were in line by 10:30 finally made it up to the front at 11:03 and had to pay $20/each for cover. What baffles me here is that a third of the dance floor was blocked off b/c there weren't enough people to pack the place. So why did my friends spend 30 min in line?! When I show the emails and the texts that are from their own people to the manager, she goes, well I am sorry, they shouldn't have promised that! WTF?! Ok- now on the actual service part: The cocktailer can clearly see there are ten+ people at the booth. OK- so then why did you walk out with 4 glasses?! (We have TWO bottles, I don't think it is inappropriate to ask for more glasses!) When I asked if she could get more glasses, she gave me this look as tho it was the BIGGEST inconvenience for her to actually do her job. I am not asking you to freaking pour my damn drinks- but I am asking you to just do your freaking job. The whole night was like this. I will say that the music was good. And there were mini cupcakes at the table. But other than that, this place is a rip off! I do not recommend it. I have done bdays w/ tables at Slide, Infusion, Ruby Skye and they have always exceeded my expectations. Save your money- go somewhere where they actually value that fact that you are putting $600+ into their business. But I should have known better. The rateclubs reviews and my friends all told me Manor West was not the place to choose. My bad.

I am torn here, my star allotment may be inaccurate... Brunch here rocks. Many delicious options, but my fav is the Eggs Benedict with spinach. Eggs poached wonderfully, not to saucy, the little potatoes on the side are crunchy and seasoned well. The fresh OJ is sooo refreshing! Lunch is delicious too. I really like the chopped salad w/ avocado dressing and the turkey club is great, mmm apple smoked bacon and quality turkey! You will take half home for dinner/snack for the doggie. Dinner, not so much. I gave it a try, I swear. All of the dishes I've tasted seem so heavy and the flavors are overpowering.

Drinks were good and fairly priced (G&T and a Midori sour for $13, Jameson neat for $6). Music was a little blah. Techno I guess. No words and it never seemed like the beat changed. We didn't stick around too long. The bartender actually apologized when I asked for the check - said Saturdays are usually better than what we experienced. The place is a lot smaller than I had expected, but it wasn't a problem. The dance floor was never really full and we could have sat at the lounge couches if we had wanted, but sat at the bar instead. The crowd was pretty chill. Plenty of people wearing jeans, t-shirts and sneakers, but I didn't feel out of place wearing a sport coat and a tie. The photo booth was WAY cool and free. It automatically uploads the pictures to their Flickr account so you can go home and download them later. I don't think that either of the two bathrooms had locking doors. The men's bathroom had a one-way window mirror thing that let you look out while you did your business. Kinda weird/cool. I guess it depends on the perspective! Overall, it wasn't bad and I think we just hit it on a bad night.
