by Sid S. on Obnoxious door policy. Arrived early on a Friday night with another male friend and left because the door people think they can charge us whatever they want. Initially the door man said for us two guys it would be a hundred dollar $100 minimum at the bar (I am also assuming that's not including the $30 door charge). He was shocked when I agreed. he then asked if we had more people coming and I informed him we had 3-4 more coming. He then told me the $100 bar minimum would be just for me and my friend. Then after a sec or two of thought said it was $100 for each person. Really?!?!? I was born and raised in NYC, been clubbing since I was 14. I know bs when I smell it. Also, it was "Brazilian Night" and I didn't hear anything that sounded like Brazilian music nor seen what looked like Brazilians enter the club. WTF?!?!?! Also heard their soft open was a disaster. Get it together Greenhouse.
by Araceli Grass on We went to a fashion show with my girlfriends here and since we didn't eat before the show, we decided to check out their menu. For a sports bar, the food was pretty expensive. So we decided to have appetizers instead and 2 rounds of drinks. The calamari was pretty good. The crab cake was missing the critical ingredient which is the crab....seemed like it was all made of flour. My girlfriends asked for some reco on their wine selection but the waitress cannot even recommend because she is not even 21 yet! After the show, we went to Cha Cha Cha for dinner and believe it or not, we paid the same amount of money per person but this time, we had a full dinner. Prolly not going back except to play billiards....
