by Jason S. on Excellent pool hall. One of the few places in the country that can mix a happening bar scene with a straight ahead pool hall. Flat Top Johnny's out in Boston could learn a thing or two from these guys. Tables are kept tip top. Plenty of room to maneuver. Drinks are reasonable and the service is good. Another top pick on my list of the best in the country.
by Misha V. on Do you LOVE a great art venue, with a bar, clean bathrooms, and space? If so, this is the place for you. I went here last night for a Groupon event. I was impressed by the set up, the lighting, the cream cushions. Most importantly, they had spacious bathrooms which were clean. Parking was pretty decent also, and there was a popular taqueria on the corner that I've decided that I should check out as well.
by Reynaldo Mirchandani on Whether or not you like house music, hate MPD, etc etc.. After all is said and done -- Cielo has one of the (ok scratch that)- it has THE best sound system in NYC. Great space. Not your average MPD clubbing crowd but draws an eclectic mix of peeps just there to have a good time, absorb the music, & dance like no one's watching! Great vibe. Love it. Warning: If you're expecting hip-hop go elsewhere. Cielo is strictly houuuse!
