Expensive $20-25 cover (can be $15 if on a guestlist)........Drinks are like double the normal prices, pregame before hand.........Tight Door.......Great sound system, Loud Music........Good DJ (guarantee good times! Fridays (Trance) & Saturday (House) Nights).......small dancefloor........attractive and friendly crowd (sometimes creepy, old and not so attractive).........Nice Europeans sometimes.......always guarantee fun!........Love it!......Want to go again soon!!!
by Babette Lefort on Umm, umm good! If I could give this 4.5 stars I would. I'm particularly picky about Southern food being from the South and I have no complaints here. It was all perfectly executed, super crispy, corn mealy hush puppies with spicy apple butter, great ribs, collards w/ bacon, cheesy grits, biscuits better than the Meeting House/Elite Cafe. Best of all the cocktails are amazing so don't forget to check them out on the back of the menu. My only issue was that several of the items I was really excited about from viewing the menu online weren't available like fried green tomatoes, boiled peanuts and whoopie pie. In the end though it didn't matter because everything we tried was great and the atmosphere is good to boot!
