I had a good experience here. The room was nice, i loved the huge closet to put everything away so it wasnt in the room. We stayed on a weekend when it was really overcast so no one was at the pool except us. The pool is heated but Im guessing the regulars do not come for the pool but for the sun instead. I was so happy that I had the whole pool to myself it made my day. We enjoyed being by the pool so much that we cleaned up and headed back to it for lunch. Probably wouldnt do that again since everything was over $15 for lunch. I had $20 fish tacos. They were good but I felt like I had to eat everything because it was so expensive. All around we had a great experience. The staff was really nice and helpful, room was nice and the pool was amazing. Maybe it wouldnt have been such a great experience if it had been sunny and packed with people but Im willing to give it another try.

As i write this, my ears are bleeding (in a good way.) I chose to stand directly under the spine of speakers at the She Wants Revenge concert last night and grinned like a fool as my eardrums split. Webster hall, while unnecessarily labyrinthine is a perfect venue. There are ample bars (very important,) and when you don't want to leave your highly sought-after spot in the mosh pit, the beer-boy comes around and quenches your thirst. The drinks, might be slightly more pricey than a dive, but they are no more so than any other bar in the city ($9 for a call mix = not bad, $5 for canned beer DELIVERED to you = stop complaining people The bathrooms seem to accommodate without the need to line-waiting (again important) AND there is a frickin' DJ in the bathroom.

This place is AMAZING. It has awesome decor and hot scantaly clad women serving you booze (what more could you want?) looking at the calender on their website tells me that really great shows are the norm there. The bordello is really personable and fun, if you don't like the fun you can snag a couch around the corner or find a barstool (there seem to be plenty of seating, my friend and i took a table right on the stage halfway through the first set of Deke Dickerson...also AMAZING) The bouncers are all really cool and none of them are too cool to chat with you while you smoke. Which is great for me 'cause i love to smoke and hate doing it alone like some kind of drug addict all running off by myself. In fact the only complaint is the slightly above average drink price ('cause i'm totally poor, but a girl so my drinks get bought for me anyways), but thats really not bad at all for how really super rad this place is.
