by Marcell Malec on Music was great and there's no bad seat in the house. It feels like a private concert! Food was down home and delicious. Great corn fritters and goat cheese salad. Fried chicken was over-fried, but still good. Amazing margaritas. We'll go again (but not too often, as tickets were $25, not including the food). Oh, you might consider asking for earplugs - they crank it up.
by Layne Hsy on Went there last friday to see The Go! Team. Awesome show, they rocked it. Unfortunately my girlfriend and I had to stand near the back (which isnt too bad, as long as the huge pillar isn't in your way) cause the highs were just well, too high (didn't realize till the encore that there were earplugs at the coat check). I have been abusing my ears going to concerts and raves for 10 years, if it still makes my ears hurt, its too loud. Also, no beers on tap?? Lame. You force me to drink your strongass mixed drinks (7 bucks vs. 6 bucks for a bottle of beer). I guess I'll suffer. Crowd was pretty mellow, I imagine that fluctuates with the show though. I will go back if theres someone I really want to see - sounds like the Ladytron and LCD Sound System shows were good. I think the club's sound would be better suited to an electronic/synthesized act than the craziness of the go! team anyways.
by Robert P. on No. No. No. No. No. I wasn't impressed. I go to concerts a lot, and this venue is definitely not conducive for a concert. A comedy show, maybe. Some type of lecture, maybe. Michael Buble, maybe. But an all out "show" with the Lovemakers, definitely not. I mean it's cute and all, but fuck cute when there is a one drink limit per stamp. The Lovemakers however, so hot. I want to have their baby.
