by Meghan P. on Oh, how I miss the Kong! This is where we spent SO much of college. I loved that they let me in starting my freshman year... and then rented out the bar to me my junior year for my 21st birthday... and that the scorpion bowls are delicious and dangerous at the same time... and that you can eat Chinese food downstairs at the end of the night (not the very best Chinese food but GREAT for late night snacking!)... I can't wait to visit when I'm back in Cambridge for the Harvard/Yale football game!
by Deandre Pallesen on I can't decide if this place wants to be a bar or a restaurant, and I don't think it can, either. Both times I've been here, the service is slooooooooooooooow, and the "spicy" food totally isn't, but this is almost made up for the fact that the bartenders/waitstaff are friendly, and the place is so much like a dive bar that you forget that you came to eat in the first place. Mind you, this is the only place I've ever eaten Ethiopian food so far, so I don't have much to compare to, but I'm gonna keep coming here, if for nothing but the all-you-can-eat veggie platter every evening, and the fact that it's pretty much right next door.
