I've only ever been here when the venue was in dance club mode. I would never normally come to a place like this but we reserved a table so I wasn't forced to mingle with the sweaty poor people down on the dance floor. I had fun but only because I had a table and I was with my friends. The lights looked pretty cool. The music was so deafeningly loud you had to shout at the top of your lungs to be heard by the person next to you even if they put their ear 3 inches away from your mouth. The smoking area was like a freakishly bad psychedelic horror movie with elements of National Lampoon. The bathroom attendant basically shook me down for a tip and charged me $10 for a pack of cigarettes; that guy was a real punk. I'm sure that being a urinal valet must suck based on general principle and I've always been weirded out by them. Just point me in the direction of the bathroom; once I get there I'm pretty sure I can figure out what to do. I then discovered we had our own private bathroom upstairs. That made me do the laughing. I wouldn't go back unless the exact circumstances of my first visit could be duplicated. Or something similarly awesome.

This was my first time partying in Atlanta and I LOVED this place. There was a free event hosted by Bacardi = free drinks. It wasn't like a cheap open bar with watered down drinks for only 30 minutes. This open bar lasted throughout the whole party and there were 8 bars throughout the venue so you didn't have to get into a long ass line and get four drinks at once acting hella ghetto. The music in the Monte Carlo room wasn't on point though. It was a mix of super new songs that no one had heard on the radio yet and super old songs that people were sick of hearing. Hey Mr. DJ, put a record on that I can actually dance to!

I have a great time every time I come here. Downstairs is great for chilling with a few beers between friends (love the color-changing lights embedded in the tables, ditto for the pool tables) and upstairs has one of the most kickass setups for shows in Philly. Every show I've seen here has been pretty epic. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. The beer selection is pretty good, and the food is excellent. Try the eggplant sandwich!
