I haven't had the food, but the sangria is pretty good and can be bought by the pitcher (so even better). Best time to go here is early evening during the week, it gets really crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.
by Marquis Norton on What a nightmare. I went with a bunch of girlfriends. We made it through one overpriced drink before we left and went across the street to Automatic Slims for a great time. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs unless of course you are into pushy crowds, way too loud music, overpriced drinks, standing in line forever, rude bouncers and guidos staring you down like it's a frickin meat market. As for me, no thanks.
by Wendy L. on 80's night at the Cat Club: minimal cover charge ($6), giant wrist stamp that covered about half of my arm (even better that it said "DIE YUPPIE SCUM"), lots of great 80's music. I didn't make it to the back of the club which I heard they had new wave music; I stayed at the front of the club with the cages, Madonna and Depeche Mode. Typical sticky floor, sticky bar but service at the bar was pretty quick. The club was the "Goldilocks of crowds" - just crowded enough to have good energy but not so crowded that it was uncomfortable. Not a very convenient location but a fun spot for dancing and belting out your favorite 80's songs.
