Beautifully restored boat in Penn's Landing waterfront. Had lunch and drinks on the deck during a warm summer afternoon. Crab Melt and fish and chips were average, somewhat pricey but in a tourist area not unexpected. Returned for drinks later in the evening and was surprised the deck area turns into a nightclub with a DJ. Can get very crowded trying to navigate around the deck area and is noisy. Best part of the night was the open bar. Coming from a state that banned open bars years ago it was fantastic to get free drinks again!

Delux rocks!! I always get the grilled cheese and it is delicous!! sooo good. I order take out pretty much every week from Delux, and my bf always gets the 'delux burger' it is soo good too. The mixed fries are so tasty. Also they don't close at 9 pm like most other restaurants! So if you are feeling like a late night snack definitly try this place...

As one of those tranny "regulars" alluded to in many reviews here, figured I'd post my thoughts from a t-gal perspective. Martuni's is probably the easiest SF watering hole to get to from the freeway- all of about 30 yards from where the Octavia Blvd exit off 101 dumps you onto Market St., and have always found easy street parking within a block (I'm referring to weeknights, here, though). I've been on each weeknight, and has always been fun. Its a great place to rendezvous with friends before going clubbing/dining out, or for a nightcap to end the evening, after dining somewhere, first. I feel its both an enjoyable spot on its own, but it gains additional value to the local t-community as an ideal bridge between the "tranny ghetto" of t-specific venues (i.e., Diva's, Trannyshack, etc.) and mainstream choices, and also serves as a great taste of the electric, energetic, diverse SF nightlife for South & East Bay trannies that only know suburban strip mall gay bars... (and they instantly recognize the classier, more upscale flavor, immediately upon first entering). I celebrated my Birthday here on Monday, and it most have felt like a tranny convention, with around a dozen of us there, and was delighted to be serenaded with a "customized lyrics" Eric Clapton song, and the happy, sharing warmth from all the other patrons. Front room for easier chatting; back room to better relish the music. Good service, and an eclectic clientele. Cocktails are decent value for money, with many fun selections, (I've been in a "Bubbles & Berries" rut for some time) and if one gets either really drunk, or really lucky, there's a Travelodge right across the street! All in all, I feel like its a trip in the wayback machine each time I drop in- certainly more than a bit of "The Rat Pack at the Sands, ca. 1962" sorta vibe that helps transport one, at least for an hour, or two, to when all gals wore garter stockings & stilettos, and false eyelashes weren't just for us Drag Queens... Martuni's is pretty much my default choice, when anyone suggests meeting for cocktails in SF. Nuff said!
